Train for Your Marathon Without Being Consumed by it

Months of high mileage, early mornings, heavy workouts, and race-day adrenaline ask a lot of you. This 1-on-1 coaching supports your food, sleep, and energy through the whole season, so you can eliminate deficits, balance your body, and arrive at the starting line well-rested, clear, and ready. 20 weeks · Private 1-on-1 · Virtual · Starting January 2027 for May marathons · 3 spots open

You're Entering a New Marathon Season

You want to build momentum and hit your mileage without burning out or creating a deep energy deficit before race day. You’re ready to shift out of constant go-go-go mode, and you want guidance that supports you as a whole person, not only as a runner.

Training plans tell you how far to run and how fast to go. They rarely teach you how to rest.

As runners, we’re used to pushing forward. Most plans don’t teach you how to manage life factors along the way. Without intentional support around your food, sleep, and recovery, training can quickly lead to burnout before you ever reach the starting line. Performance comes from building a body and a supportive environment that can carry the load with ease. That means paying as much attention to how you nourish, restore, and care for yourself as you do your miles on the road.

Time for a Fresh Start

For months ahead, your life will revolve around running: long runs, workouts, fueling, early mornings, repeat. If you’re already feeling the strain, you might be: +Heading into a new season feeling drained or sluggish +Constantly wired, restless, or missing out on deep sleep +Stuck in heavy digestion or inconsistent eating habits +Relying on extra caffeine just to complete baseline miles +Craving a strong training cycle without burning yourself out High-performance running shouldn’t mean running your daily life into the ground.

Train without the Struggle

Picture a season where you reach your goals while still enjoying delicious meals, waking up rested, spending quality time with family and friends, and having space for your hobbies. You approach every workout with clear intention, moving away from frantic output toward calm, focused execution. You run smarter, live better, and toe the line on race day well-rested and ready to perform.

How We’ll Get You There

This coaching is built on Ayurveda. Originating in India over 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda is a system of self-knowledge that teaches you to pay attention to what your body, mind, and energy are telling you. For runners, that becomes very practical. Together we look at your unique daily rhythms and your constitution, or body type: how your body processes energy, handles stress, and recovers. Then we design grounded habits around food, sleep, and energy management that work with your nature rather than against it. Your complete 20-week journey Pre-Season Foundation (Weeks 1–4). Discover your constitution and erase the pre-season energy deficit. We build a stable foundation before high-mileage weeks begin. Peak Mileage & Energy Support (Weeks 5–14). Refine your food, sleep, and energy habits to support steady vitality, optimal digestion, and deep recovery, adjusting as your training shifts. Mindful Taper & Race Prep (Weeks 15–16). Mindful race preparation, so you approach race day with clear intention. Post-Marathon Recovery (Weeks 17–20). Restorative, passive yoga, targeted digestion, and tissue-rebuilding meals to soothe tight hips, relieve low back pressure, calm inflammation, and ease your mind out of race-season intensity. Unlike standard training programs that end when you cross the finish line, this journey guides you all the way through full recovery so you stay strong, healthy, and ready for what’s next.

Questions

Do I need to know anything about Ayurveda? No. We start with an in-depth constitution and lifestyle assessment, and I’ll walk you through what it means for your food, sleep, and recovery. Does this replace my running plan or coach? Yes! Angie will create a customized marathon training plan tailored to your goals, experience, and race. You'll also receive personalized lifestyle and recovery coaching to help you navigate sleep, nourishment, energy, and everyday habits throughout your 20-week journey. You'll have one coach supporting both your training and your overall well-being. How many 1:1 coaching calls are included? You'll receive ten personalized 50-minute coaching calls with Angie, scheduled every other week throughout your 20-week program. We'll review your progress, navigate challenges, and adjust your training, recovery practices, and lifestyle habits as your season evolves. What if my marathon isn't in May? Because this is a high-touch coaching experience, I limit enrollment to two cohorts each year so I can be fully present with my clients and deliver personalized, high-quality coaching. The January cohort supports runners preparing for May marathons, and the June cohort supports runners preparing for October marathons. These two entry points allow me to give each runner the time, attention, and individualized support they deserve. How much time will this take each week? Plan to dedicate approximately 30–60 minutes a day to your recovery practices, reflection, and lifestyle habits, in addition to your running and other training. The goal isn't to add more to your to-do list. It's to make room for the habits that help you feel and perform your best, which may mean simplifying other parts of your routine. What if I get injured during the program? An injury doesn't mean your coaching journey has to stop. We can adjust our focus to support your overall well-being while you recover, including sleep, nourishment, stress management, and lifestyle habits. Depending on your circumstances, we can discuss adapting your training plan or adjusting your coaching focus. Injuries may require evaluation and treatment from a qualified healthcare professional, and coaching does not replace medical care or rehabilitation. What is the refund policy? Because this program includes personalized training plans, reserved coaching time, and ongoing support, payments are nonrefundable once the program begins. If an unexpected injury or life event affects your ability to participate, please reach out to Angie to discuss possible adjustments to your coaching experience.
